- care about security more than most people at my stage should
- break things, then rebuild them properly

- jwt auth across services
- request signing
- encryption for models/data
- circuit breakers (so prod doesn’t die dramatically)
- soc 2 compliance work
- observability pipelines (langfuse, tracing llm calls)
- ocr + document processing systems
- pdf generation at scale
