This repository contains my study notes, technical documentation and learning material related to quantum sensing with nitrogen-vacancy (NV) centers in diamond.
The content is based on my summer research internship at the Nanomaterials and Nanotechnology Research Center (CINN), where I am learning the fundamentals of quantum sensing, microwave instrumentation and experimental techniques.
- NV-center quantum sensing
- Optical pumping
- Microwave control
- Radio-frequency instrumentation
- Spectrum analysis
- Experimental quantum physics
- Literature review
- Scientific notes
- Technical summaries
- Figures and diagrams
- Python scripts for data analysis (planned)
This repository also includes an educational Python simulation of the ODMR spectrum of an NV center in diamond.
The program allows the user to:
- Introduce an external magnetic field.
- Simulate the ODMR spectrum.
- Observe the Zeeman splitting.
- Calculate the magnetic field from the resonance frequencies.
- Visualise the results graphically.
This repository is actively updated throughout my research intership as I continue learning and documenting new concepts and techniques.
