Discussion Topics

  • Our primary focus is splitting out the packages into its own separate repo. Ryan has demonstrated good early results for migrating our GitLab CI pipelines to this new repo.

  • We also discussed upcoming changes to config scope priority (Spack PR #50603) and how this will impact how our CI pipelines. In general, we all agree this is a great change to make for Spack 1.0 as it will give users more fine-grained control over configs and how they override one another.
