This PR was opened by the Changesets release GitHub action. When you're ready to do a release, you can merge this and the packages will be published to npm automatically. If you're not ready to do a release yet, that's fine, whenever you add more changesets to next, this PR will be updated.

⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️

next is currently in pre mode so this branch has prereleases rather than normal releases. If you want to exit prereleases, run changeset pre exit on next.

Releases

@strapi/design-system@2.3.0-alpha.1

Minor Changes

  • #2068 e47a6c6 Thanks @valfur03! - Add a Drawer at @strapi/design-system/next: a panel that slides in from the edge that the swipeDirection prop sets.

Patch Changes

  • #2064 06e7d76 Thanks @unrevised6419! - Replace the global JSX namespace with React.JSX in public type positions

    @types/react@19 removes the global JSX namespace; it only exists as React.JSX. Bare JSX.Element and JSX.IntrinsicElements references were leaking into the published .d.ts files through the exported types of Box, Grid, Typography, TextButton, SearchForm and the internal PropsOf helper, which broke consumers that had already upgraded to the v19 types.

    These now use React.JSX.*. This is a type-only change with no runtime or API impact.

  • #2046 16b7c6a Thanks @unrevised6419! - fix: declare @types/react as an optional peer dependency

    The published type declarations import React types (import * as React from 'react'), but @types/react was not declared as a dependency of any kind. Consumers whose package manager does not place @types/react on the ambient resolution path of these packages (for example pnpm's global virtual store) silently resolved react to the untyped runtime entry, degrading React.* to any and distorting Pick/Omit-derived prop types — optional props became required.

  • #2061 616b1da Thanks @unrevised6419! - fix: declare @radix-ui/react-context as a dependency

    dist/components/Select/SelectParts.d.ts references import('@radix-ui/react-context').Scope in the public type of SingleSelect/MultiSelect, but the package declared @radix-ui/react-context nowhere. It resolved only by accident, through the copy @strapi/ui-primitives hoists under npm/yarn. Consumers on a strict layout (pnpm's global virtual store, node-linker=isolated) got TS2307: Cannot find module '@radix-ui/react-context' from inside the published declarations.

  • #2076 bcbac23 Thanks @ricardofrancoli! - Internal: reformat the source with oxfmt 0.75. Nothing changes at runtime.

  • #2074 424ae5a Thanks @ricardofrancoli! - DatePicker, MultiSelect, RawTable, FocusTrap: fix lint errors

    This change fixes lint errors in DatePicker, MultiSelect, RawTable and FocusTrap. It does not change the behaviour of these components.

  • #2074 424ae5a Thanks @ricardofrancoli! - Internal: fix Oxlint warnings

    This change renames shadowed variables. It removes any where the published types stay compatible. It also removes dead eslint-disable comments. extractStyleFromTheme now types its fallback parameter as unknown. Callers can still pass any value. No component changes its behaviour.

  • #2048 575c257 Thanks @unrevised6419! - chore: bump individual @radix-ui/* dependencies to the versions declared by radix-ui@1.1.0's dependency manifest

    Each @radix-ui/* package used by @strapi/design-system and @strapi/ui-primitives was bumped to the version pinned in the first unified radix-ui release with concrete version pins (radix-ui@1.1.0; 1.0.0/1.0.1 only declared "latest" placeholders and were not usable as a reference). @radix-ui/number, @radix-ui/primitive and @radix-ui/react-use-previous, which are not direct dependencies of the unified package, were bumped to their era-matched releases (by publish date, just before radix-ui@1.1.0).

    @radix-ui/react-primitive crosses a major version (1.0.3 → 2.0.1) and dropped its ComponentPropsWithoutRef and PropsWithoutRef type exports; internal usages were switched to React.ComponentPropsWithoutRef instead. Separately, Menu.tsx referenced DropdownMenu.MenuItemProps, a type @radix-ui/react-dropdown-menu does not export (at 2.0.6 and 2.1.5 alike it is a local, non-exported alias); it now uses the exported DropdownMenuItemProps. Both references previously resolved to any, which is why neither surfaced as an error before.

  • Updated dependencies [424ae5a, 116dc1f, 16b7c6a, bcbac23, 424ae5a, 575c257]:

    • @strapi/ui-primitives@2.3.0-alpha.1

@strapi/icons@2.3.0-alpha.1

Minor Changes

  • #2078 dd409a3 Thanks @butcherZ! - feat: add the @strapi/icons/regular entry point

    It holds the Phosphor regular (outline) weight, under the Phosphor React name with the Icon suffix: ArrowDownIcon, CaretDownIcon, CaretLeftIcon, CaretRightIcon, CaretUpIcon, CheckIcon, CheckCircleIcon, CircleHalfIcon, ClockCountdownIcon, DotsThreeIcon, InfoIcon, MagnifyingGlassIcon, MinusIcon, SidebarIcon, SpinnerIcon, WarningIcon, XIcon and XCircleIcon. The icons exported from @strapi/icons are unchanged.

Patch Changes

  • #2046 16b7c6a Thanks @unrevised6419! - fix: declare @types/react as an optional peer dependency

    The published type declarations import React types (import * as React from 'react'), but @types/react was not declared as a dependency of any kind. Consumers whose package manager does not place @types/react on the ambient resolution path of these packages (for example pnpm's global virtual store) silently resolved react to the untyped runtime entry, degrading React.* to any and distorting Pick/Omit-derived prop types — optional props became required.

@strapi/ui-primitives@2.3.0-alpha.1

Minor Changes

  • #2044 116dc1f Thanks @gaurav-init! - Combobox: add modal prop to Root

    The Combobox.Root component now accepts a modal prop (default true).

    When modal={false}, the three modal-mode behaviours are disabled:

    • aria-hidden is not applied to elements outside the trigger and content
    • Page scroll is not locked while the listbox is open
    • Focus is not trapped inside the trigger

    This is useful when the combobox is placed inside a dialog or other container that already manages focus trapping and aria-hiding, or when pointer events outside the open listbox must remain active.

    The default (modal={true}) is unchanged, so existing usage is unaffected.

Patch Changes

  • #2074 424ae5a Thanks @ricardofrancoli! - Combobox: add aria-selected="false" to the create item

    The create item has role="option". It now sets aria-selected="false", because a user cannot select it.

  • #2046 16b7c6a Thanks @unrevised6419! - fix: declare @types/react as an optional peer dependency

    The published type declarations import React types (import * as React from 'react'), but @types/react was not declared as a dependency of any kind. • #2076 bcbac23 Thanks @ricardofrancoli! - Internal: reformat the source with oxfmt 0.75. Nothing changes at runtime.

  • #2074 424ae5a Thanks @ricardofrancoli! - Internal: fix Oxlint warnings

    This change fixes Oxlint warnings in Collection, Combobox, Select and useCollator. Their behaviour and their published types do not change.
