The brew line went into the README ahead of the tap existing, on the assumption the tap would follow within the hour. It has not, and an install command that does not work is worse than one that is not offered. What is left is what has been verified against the real v0.6.2 release: a downloaded binary with its checksum, cargo-binstall, and cargo install. The quickstart now carries the download one-liner rather than a brew command, because that is the one someone without Rust can actually run. The
brew install vyncint/tap/mossaicline went into the README ahead of the tap existing, on the assumption the tap would follow within the hour.It has not — the Intel-Mac artifact for v0.6.2 is still queued behind GitHub's macos-13 runners, and a Homebrew formula that cannot serve Intel Macs is not one worth publishing. An install command that does not work is worse than one that is not offered, so the claim comes out until the tap is real and tested.
What remains is what is verified against the actual v0.6.2 release:
