In addition to a custom RSS events feed builder, Helios Calendar provides supports for a variety of pre-built RSS feeds. Background on the RSS standard is available at Wikipedia.
Helios Calendar feeds are denoted by the standard feed icon. When present this icon will link to an associated feed.
The number of entries for all RSS feeds is configured within the admin console Preferences.
- All Events - Active events available on the calendar starting with today's events.
- Newest Events - The most recently added and approved events.
- Featured Events - Active events currently on the Billboard.
- Most Popular Events - The most popular (by ave. daily views) active events.
- Comments - Recent public calendar event comments (powered by Disqus).
- Location Event Feeds - Feed of events for the selected location.
- Available within the location profile.
- Available in the location info window of the Location Browse.
Public calendar users can create their own custom feed consisting of any available event Categories and/or Cities. As settings are selected the feed URL is presented in a textbox for copy & paste addition to any standard RSS feed reader.
