GitHub retired the macos-13 runner image in December 2025, so the two latest CI runs on "main" are stuck in the queue with no available runners.\n\nThis PR migrates the workflow to the currently supported macos-15 image with Xcode 16.4, switches the iOS simulator destination from iPhone 14 (no longer present) to iPhone 16, and creates the simulator before testing because the macos-15 image does not pre-create one.
