A collection of potential issues
- Is it necessary to have a low-voltage cutoff to avoid dangerous depletion of the CR123 lithium cells?
- Nope, this is only an issue with killing rechargeables, not a safety issue.
- What ESD protection would be reasonable for the analog signal connections to the microsquid-c?
- 100ohm series resistor into pairs of diodes to Vcc/GND for both sides of the analog signal. Add a 0.01uF capacitor between the sides, and it's reasonable to remove the op-amps altogether.
- Add a 100ohm series resistor and large cap to the SD supply to handle write surges
- Avoid traffic on the I2C lines during conversion.
