• WCAG 2 proposed changes (feedback due by 7 July) is only item on the agenda for the Tuesday AGWG call before subgroup breakouts. Items are listed below but were not addressed on our call as a set.
• Add new errata to both 2.1 and 2.2 #4370 now cleanly shows relevant commits from the most recent CFC for errata for the 2.1 and 2.2 guidelines, following Backport June 2025 errata to 2.1 #4470.
• Per agenda email, using our standing agenda.

These were not directly addressed during our backlog call. Feedback from AGWG requested by July 7th and open for discussion on AG call July 8th. The following outlines the updates proposed and implemented by the WCAG 2 Issues task force, providing a two-week window for Working Group members to review non-normative WCAG 2 updates, and consists of changes in several categories.

Proposed normative change

In addition to the non-normative changes in the sections below, the Task Force has identified a normative change for the Working Group. If the working group members are in general agreement during this review period, it will be queued for a CFC process for publication at a later time.

• Editorial (Normative): "Web" to "web", harmonise when SC is upper or lowercase #4461
• Replace archaic-looking "e-mail" with "email" #4385

Proposed editorial errata changes

Changes that do not meaningfully alter informative language in a normative document.

• Fix note structure in abbreviation definition #4452
