1.4.11 Non-text contrast understanding doc references placeholder as a passing technique, despite it being a transient state #4413 Floating labels are a possible solution. Francis to add comment about how CCS can surfaces text insertion point.

3.3.2 labels or instructions: additional info in placeholder #4521 includes links to related issues. Giacomo proposes raising to browsers developers, as default place holder text has better contrast than before. Patrick pointed out that it is a long standing issue. Steve Faulkner shared his involvement over the years.

Automate generating techniques changelog #4515 previously change log was not consistent and there were omissions. Change log is now programmatically generated. Moved to Ready for Approval.

Remove empty substantive subsections from errata pages #4516 errata now cleaner. Moved to Ready for Approval.

Generate IDs for sectionless headings, and improve/fix existing IDs #4523. Does not change headings used for table of contents. Many ID were duplicated or did not use printable characters. Stays in drafted.

Correct link to UN Declaration Of Human Rights #4518 updated URL and adjusted prose. Conversation about concern for link rot. This is related resources and describing some history behind the development of SC. Moved to Ready for Approval.

[Techniques] remove external highlight.js #4520 removes some cruft. Improvement to build system catches any similar defects not caught manually in PR. Moved to Ready for Approval.

Minimum bounding box and line wrapping - unclear definition #3376 intersection between excepted UI components and exception for undersized targets. One solution to consider is changes to the normative phrasing. One reason why inline was exempted is because of resizing/reflowing text changes the target area. Open question as how to measure undersized against targets which are exempted. Plan is to revisit Google doc's examples of pass / fail — and fails but should get a pass (and vice-versa).
