19 in Fixed, 22 drafted, 61 reported as In Progress and 135 in To Do. Facilitators will try and move on these more aggressively. TF members should feel empowered to close very old issues. We don't want to be a help desk. If you do close, provide explanation and invite comment and reopening. Also be encouraged to convert Issues to discussions if that's appropriate. Getting close to 500 closed issues!

  • #4498 Request to update phrasing of captioning versus subtitles. Mike proposes Draft Working Group Response. As describing in response, 4262 is an update that partially addressed issues raised.

  • #4608 quick syntax correction by Mondo. Moved to Ready for Approval

  • #4431 Patrick review and added to Detlev work. Patrick systematically tested with several browser. Adam will review and move to Ready for Approval unless something needs more discussion.

  • #4547 updated F1 procedure with Giacomo adding more tests. Feedback caught few typos, so

  • #4545 updates G65 regarding bread crumbs. Mike mentioned that aria-label attribute values are getting missed by localization. Feedback to change to change to labeled-by since example has visual text.

    • Mention of use of H2 within aria-label and that name-from-content algorithm can be problematic. Examples need to be explicit for current implementations. Could be a future technic that does not impactG65 for now.

  • #4548 stays in drafted.

  • #4539 another update by Giacomo. Moved to Ready for approval.

  • #1949 re 2.4.9 and phone number links, is Response Only and moved to Ready for Approval.

  • #2273 Response Only drafted by Giacomo. Issue raised has been addressed by recent push.

Repo Maintenance

Ken walked team through a number improvements to the repo

#4605 described Ken, to Add cspell and fix typos work. Happened not to touch normative docs except for errata. New words can be added as needed.

#4610 Removes attributes from code element and updated style guide to reflect syntax used in repo. In general, attributes are not needed (and should be avoided) on HTML elements.

#4611 Another technical debt clean up. The reference highlight.js almost never needs to be explicitly invoked. There is no value to language specifier.
