These were not directly addressed during our backlog call. Feedback from AGWG initially requested by July 7th and open for discussion on AG call July 8th where feedback date postponed to July 14th.

The following outlines the updates proposed and implemented by the WCAG 2 Issues task force, providing a two-week window for Working Group members to review non-normative WCAG 2 updates, and consists of changes in several categories.

Proposed normative change

In addition to the non-normative changes in the sections below, the Task Force has identified a normative change for the Working Group. If the working group members are in general agreement during this review period, it will be queued for a CFC process for publication at a later time.

  • Editorial (Normative): "Web" to "web", harmonise when SC is upper or lowercase #4461
  • Replace archaic-looking "e-mail" with "email" #4385

Proposed editorial errata changes

Changes that do not meaningfully alter informative language in a normative document.

  • Fix note structure in abbreviation definition #4452

Changes that meaningfully add or alter existing non-normative guidance.
